A few areas in far western Oklahoma recorded their first snow of the season early Wednesday morning!

Temperatures were just cold enough for the rain to switch over to snow in the early morning hours. Most areas that did receive snow, only recorded about a dusting of accumulation, all of which only stuck to grassy areas or elevated surfaces like vehicles.

Temperatures were too warm for the Oklahoma City metro to see snow as all of their precip fell as rain.

It's been since January 6th since Tulsa has recorded any measurable snowfall.
