EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) -- Golden State Warriors star Draymond Green was arrested for an alleged assault over the weekend in East Lansing, Michigan, according to online court records.

The incident occurred around 2:30 a.m. Sunday in the city where Green played for Michigan State from 2008-12.

An East Lansing police spokesman did not immediately return a call seeking details. Messages seeking comment were left for Green.

If convicted of assault or assault and battery, Green could face 93 days in jail, a $500 fine or both. The Warriors said the team was collecting information about the incident and declined comment "until we have a better understanding of the situation."

Records from the East Lansing District Court show that a $200 cash bond was paid.

Oklahoma City Thunder fans know Green for his kick to the groin of Thunder big man Steven Adams during Game 3 of the Western Conference Finals.

And, of course, he's now teammates with former OKC star Kevin Durant.
