OKLAHOMA CITY – The enrollment freeze for the Child Care Subsidy program will soon be over, says the Oklahoma Department of Human Services.

DHS sent a statement on June 30 reporting that the freeze is scheduled to end on July 31, 2016. For those unfamiliar with the program, the announcement means that assistance with child care can be approved for eligible families starting in August.

New applications will be accepted starting July 1st, says DHS, but families should not expect assistance to start until August.
