One person dead in south Tulsa shooting, suspect arrested by Tulsa Police

TULSA -- Police have identified the man killed in Tulsa's 10th homicide of 2017.

Police say 34-year-old Christopher Coffelt was shot and killed at a home on the 6300 block of S. Richmond around 3:30 a.m.

Police have arrested William Bridges, 44, (pictured below) for first degree murder.

When police arrived on scene, they found the 911 caller, who shot and killed a man. EMSA declared the man deceased at the scene.

TPD said the two men got into some sort of altercation, but they're still investigating the details.

This is the city's 10th homicide since the beginning of 2017. Anyone with information on the homicide is asked to call the Tulsa Police Department.
