TULSA - A man and a woman were transported to the hospital late Saturday night after a murder-suicide attempt in east Tulsa, police say.
Officers were called to a home in the 3600 block of 129th E. Ave. at 10:30 p.m. after a female called 911 to report she had been shot in the head by her significant other. She also told the dispatcher that he was going to shoot himself.
Before first responders could arrive, the man did shoot himself in the head, according to officers.
The two were transported to the hospital from the scene, the man in critical condition, and the woman in stable condition with wounds to her head and shoulder.
The investigation is ongoing.
