TULSA - Tulsa Police are searching for a man who they say is a key witness in the shooting death of his friend.

On Election night, Nov. 8, police reports show that Courtney Palmer, 23, was involved in a fight at the Tamarack Apartments at 1100 E. 60th St. in south Tulsa. Officers say that the keys to a vehicle in Palmer's possession were taken from him. Police say Palmer returned to the apartments later with the owner of the vehicle to retrieve the keys.

As the situation escalated, police report that the owner of the vehicle was shot multiple times and was in critical condition when transported that night about 7:30 p.m. TPD officers interviewed Palmer about the incident and was let go, according to police reports. Authorities say he has not been seen for more than a week now.

Homicide Detectives have attempted to make contact with Palmer and would like to talk to him again. They also said they are concerned with his well being.
