Tulsa police search for midtown bank robbery suspect

TULSA- Tulsa police are searching for a suspect after a bank robbery in Midtown Tulsa Thursday afternoon. 

Police responded to Arvest Bank at 36th and Yale just after 3 p.m. after reports of a bank robbery. 

Officers say a white male entered the bank and approached the bank teller and demanded money. They said the bank teller complied the request and handed over an amount of cash to the suspect. 

Police say no gun was seen or implied and the suspect did not threaten the suspect. 

They say suspect took the money and walked west on East 36th Street. 

The suspect is described as a white male in his 60's, gray hair, approximately 5' 11" to 6'1" tall and was last seen wearing a black cap, light blue polo shirt, and blue jeans. 

Tulsa police are asking anyone with information to call 918-596-COPS.
