TULSA - Tulsa police identified one of the two people arrested for the armed robbery of a south Tulsa QuikTrip Wednesday morning.

This is the third armed robbery reported this week at a Tulsa-area QuikTrip and one of 17 incidents police have responded to in 2016 at the popular convenience store.

Around 5 a.m. police took 18-year-old Terrence Smith and a 16-year-old female into custody after pulling them over in a silver van at 1000 North Sheridan Road.

The two people in the car matched the description of the two people accused of robbing QT.

The van was reported stolen to police earlier Wednesday morning from the Meadows Apartments.

Police found a semi-auto pistol, a roll of cash, marijuana and pills in the car.

Currently, police believe that the cash found within the van could belong to QuikTrip.
