No injuries were reported after a truck crashed into a restaurant in south Tulsa Friday afternoon.

Police say an elderly man reportedly got lost and hit the truck's gas instead of the break. The truck then crashed into La Roma Pizza near 61st and Sheridan.

No one was inside the restaurant at the time and there were no other passengers inside the truck.

Officers say the truck belongs to Bob Moore Dodge located near 43rd and Memorial. It is not clear if the driver was an employee or a customer.

Police say the restaurant's owner did not want to file a report or press charges. They say the driver will be at fault for the damage costs.

The restaurant is closed for business as crews clean up the damage. The owner did not have an estimate of the damage costs or know how long they will be out of business.

The owner also told 2 Works for You that several other businesses on the strip have also been previously hit.
