3 arrested in connection with shooting of clerk at convenience store

TULSA - Three people have been arrested in connection with a deadly convenience store robbery in north Tulsa on Friday night.

Investigators were called to the scene a little after 6 p.m. near 2100 N. Sheridan at the S&K Food Mart, where they said a clerk there was shot and killed.

Three people were arrested in connection with the shooting. They were identified as Cesar Espinoza, Bayle Snell and Jose Mata.

According to police, the homicide may be related to a robbery at 11th and Lewis within the last few weeks. Another clerk was injured during that robbery.

The clerk was identified as Aftab Ahmed, 51.
