TULSA – Police arrested a 20-year-old Tulsa woman after a home invasion in east Tulsa left one infant in critical condition, according to authorities.

Investigators say Jordan Morrow is one of three suspects who attempted to break in through the back door of the apartment at Meadows Apartments around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday.

When the suspects were able to gain entry into the apartment, one of them threw a pipe through the glass and hit the child, confirmed police.

According to the booking report, Morrow had her 2-month-old child with her during the assault.  Police say she put her child in a vehicle with the assault suspects and fled the scene.

TPD went on to report that the child’s mother and father were inside the apartment at the time of the invasion. The father was reportedly assaulted.

The father was transported with a contusion to his eye and, police say, he is expected to recover. TPD went on to report that the mother and the infant were transported by a “good Samaritan.”

"The infant was taken to a minor emergency center and then transferred to St. Francis Hospital,” said Sgt. Marqus Harper with TPD.

Morrow was booked on charges of first degree burglary, child neglect and assault with a deadly weapon in concert.
