Skiatook police pursue suspect in stolen Tulsa Police Department patrol car

SKIATOOK, Okla. -- Multiple agencies pursued a suspect who allegedly stole a Tulsa Police Department vehicle Monday night.

The suspect, John Pinney, posted multiple Facebook live videos while being pursued by police. During the first video, Pinney got out of the car and posed in front of the car in the parking lot of a smoke shop. This is his first video. Be aware this is offensive language in it.

Tulsa police say the car was stolen near 200 South Detroit just before 8 p.m. A pursuit ensued near I-244 and Quanna.

According to police, the pursuit lasted about 40 minutes, stretching through Sperry, Skiatook and Owasso.

Multiple agencies responded, including Skiatook and Tulsa police, the Oklahoma Highway Patrol and the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.
