TULSA – Police are searching for the suspect accused of hitting a Tulsa Public School bus Thursday and driving away.
Tulsa police, firefighters and EMSA were on scene of the incident that occurred around noon.
Police say both vehicles were heading northbound on Sheridan near 11th St. when one, a green Ford F-150, hit the bus. They say the pickup struck the front driver side wheel of the bus.
Overall, six students from Rogers and Tulsa Tech were on board the bus and four were transported to a nearby hospital. Their conditions are not known at this time, but they did report having back and neck injuries.
Witnesses in the area say they believe the driver of the pickup truck appeared to be drunk.
