Man, 18, arrested in connection with deadly shooting at north Tulsa convenience store

TULSA -- Police have identified the teen shot and killed outside a north Tulsa convenience store Monday afternoon.

Police say 19-year-old Jeremy Armstrong died from his injuries after being taken to the hospital following the shooting.

The store is located near Apache and Yale.

Dominique Brown, 18, has been arrested on a complaint for murder in connection with the shooting. Officers said Brown and others were involved in a drug transaction when the shooting occurred,

Officers say Armstrong ran to his home near the scene and was transported to a hospital.

Police say there may be as many as three suspects involved in the crime, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-2677.
