TPD: Man shot in S. Tulsa after altercation

TULSA – Authorities were called to a home in south Tulsa to investigate reports of several shots fired.

Tulsa police were called to the 5000th Block of S. 92 East Ave. to find a man who was reportedly shot around four times.

The shooting was the result of an altercation between the victim and the suspect, according to TPD, regarding money.

Crews transported the victim to a nearby hospital and despite the initial report of homicide detectives being called to the scene, the victim is said to not have life-threatening injuries.

Tulsa police say the suspect reportedly drove off in a tan Ford Explorer or Expedition. The suspect was described as a black male around five-foot nine, 180 pounds and the driver of the vehicle was described as Hispanic male around 6-foot and possibly 180 pounds.
