OWASSO, Okla. - A man has pled guilty to manslaughter in the 1st degree in connection to the shooting of Owasso man in 2015.

Sean Askey, 27, was arrested in May of 2015 in connection to the shooting death of Robert Sapp, 28.
Officers responded to the Brookwood Apartments near 86th Street North and Highway 169 on may 18th.
Originally, Askey claimed he accidentally discharged a .22 rifle, shooting Sapp in the head.
Askey is scheduled to be sentenced on June 13th.
