OWASSO, Okla. --  It's been three days since an Owasso teen vanished from her home and her family is searching for answers.

Lauren Chambless said she's in disbelief her cousin Sadye went missing days before her 16th birthday.

Chambless lives in Georgia, but said she's spreading the word on social media hoping someone will have information about Sadye.

"I just want to do anything to bring her home safely," said Chambless.

Owasso Police said Sadye was last seen before she went to bed Wednesday night at her home in the Windsor Lake addition of Owasso.

On Thursday afternoon one of Sadye's family members contacted police saying she was nowhere to be found.

"Unfortunately in this particular case it is a missing girl incident and there are some concerning factors with no property or items taken from the home," said Owasso Police Lieutenant Nick Boatman.

Police said there is no evidence or information indicating Sadye ran away or was abducted from her home.

"We want to get this young lady found as quickly as possible, because we are concerned about it, but at the same time we have no physical evidence that point towards an abduction so unfortunately it makes an amber alert impossisble at this time," said Boatman.

Chambless said Sadye should be celebrating her sweet 16. She said she hopes Sadye is found by the end of her birthday.

"Just want to be able to tell her happy birthday," said Chambless.

Police said they don't have any leads about Sadye's whereabouts at this time. Anyone with information is asked to call Owasso Police at (918) 272-2244.
