Man says he was robbed with machete and hit in the face at north Tulsa, ran to QuikTrip for help

TULSA -- Police are investigating after a man told them he was robbed with a machete and hit in the face in north Tulsa Wednesday morning.

According to officers, the victim said he was at a home near Admiral and South Lewis around 1 a.m.

He said a man pulled a machete, hit him, then demanded money. Police say the victim was not cut but did have a bruise.

The victim ran to a nearby QuikTrip and called police. He refused medical treatment for the bruise.
