TULSA, Okla. (AP) -- A man sentenced to more than 17 years in prison in a child pornography case has pleaded guilty in the 2013 rape of a 12-year-old Glenpool girl.
Fifty-one-year-old Kevin Leroy Smith pleaded guilty to two counts of first-degree rape against a victim under 14, one count of kidnapping and one count of first-degree rape by instrumentation on Monday. Prosecutors say Smith kidnapped the girl as she was making her way home from school and raped her in his vehicle on Jan. 8, 2013.
Smith is scheduled to be sentenced on March 22.
Smith was previously convicted of eight counts of distribution of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He was sentenced in January to 17 1/2 years.
