Fire erupts at the Port of Catoosa

PORT OF CATOOSA, Okla. - Fire erupted Sunday morning at the Port of Catoosa after a tank holding chemicals caught fire.

Firefighters were called out to the fire at the AZZ Galvanizing just after 9 Sunday morning. Firefighters were able to extinguish the flames quickly and no injuries have been reported.

The Port Authority says that that plant was empty when the fire started. During the fire, chemicals spilled out of the tank that caught fire. HAZMAT crews were called out to clean up the chemicals.
