SLICK, Okla. - A Glenpool firefighter, his 8-months pregnant wife, and their 2-year-old daughter lose everything in an overnight fire at their home; donations requested.

Glenpool Fire Department Union President Kendall Dykes said that the family lost everything in a matter of hours in a blaze that roared through the home and then to their vehicles in this small town about 40 miles southwest of Tulsa.

The fire is under investigation.

Authorities are unsure when the fire started because the father was on duty at work and the mother was at her parents’ house. Dykes said the family is very private and didn't want to release their names.

A hunter stumbled on the rural property Saturday and reported the burned down residence and cars.

Dykes said the father only has what he was wearing on his back when he went to work Saturday. The home was a total loss and both cars were totaled.

The Glenpool Fire Department is asking for donations for the family to help them get through the holidays.
