SAND SPRINGS, Okla. — UPDATE: According to the Sand Springs Fire Marshal, the cause of the house fire was determined to be the failure of an extension chord and the failure of a breaker.
The Fire Marshal says the tenant's dog died in the fire and the vast majority of the contents in the house were damaged.

Crews are responding to a house fire Tuesday evening, according to the Sand Springs Police Department.
Police say the fire broke out at a residence near North Roosevelt Avenue and West 11th Street South.
Sand Springs Fire Department is currently on the scene.
