TULSA – One church in Tulsa is making a statement about the upcoming LGBTQ pride parade.
The East Side Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) located at 1438 South Indianapolis Avenue changed the wording on a sign in front of the church to have a pro-LGBTQ message.
The quote shows support for the LGBTQ community saying, "A gay Christian is not an oxymoron, a hateful one is."
The pride parade is scheduled for June 4 at 3 p.m. in downtown Tulsa.
