BROKEN ARROW, Okla. - It was July 22, 2015 when a quiet neighborhood made national headlines.

Five members of the Bever family, including David, 52, April, 44, 5-year-old Victoria, 7-year-old Christopher and 12-year-old Daniel, were found murdered in their home.

A 13-year-old child survived the attack but sustained critical injuries. A two-year-old girl, also inside the home, was uninjured.

Police saw the suspects -- 16-year-old Michael Bever and 18-year-old Robert Bever -- running out of the back door as officers arrived.  A canine unit tracked them to a nearby wooded trail where they were taken into custody.

The brothers will appear in court on Feb. 23 for a preliminary hearing.

Six months later the house where the murders happened still stands and the Bever family dog, Sally, lives just a couple doors away. What is life like on Magnolia Ct.?

2 Works for You reporter Gitzel Puente was on scene that morning last summer and went back to the neighborhood recently to visit with neighbors who live nearby, including the woman who took in Sally.
