13-year-old safely returns home in Broken Arrow

BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) -- Police are searching for a 13-year-old boy who went missing after his Broken Arrow home caught fire.

According to a news release from the Broken Arrow Police Department, a fire was reported at a residence around 7:30 p.m. Monday. Authorities say the fire caused extensive damage to the home, but no one was hurt.

Police say Devin Bacon was reported missing following the fire. According to police, Bacon is Native American, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 160 pounds. They say he has brown hair and brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a blue shirt and khaki shorts. He also wears a green hearing implant in his left ear.

Authorities also said Bacon's mustard yellow Diamondback mountain bike was missing following the fire.
