MUSKOGEE -- The body of a 21-year-old man was found Saturday near the Arkansas River in Muskogee.
Muskogee Police officials said the person found dead was identified as Brandon Welch of Muskogee. His body was found at about 7 p.m. Saturday by a man on a boat who noticed the body less than a mile way from Three Forks Harbor.
Welch had been reported missing earlier in March.
Police are unsure if foul play was involved, and the incident is still under investigation.
