Bald eagle found in downtown Tulsa to be released by Tulsa Zoo

After a week of treatment, the Tulsa Zoo announced that it will be releasing a bald eagle back into the wild.

TULSA -- After a week of treatment, the Tulsa Zoo announced that it will be releasing a bald eagle back into the wild.

The zoo says they found and rescued the young eagle in downtown Tulsa on June 9^th and brought the bird to the zoo for treatment.

The bald eagle will be released Sunday near 23^rd Street west of the Arkansas River.
