A Midtown murder suspect is caught and arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Wednesday night

TULSA - Police say 20-year-old Joe Johnson was arrested in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Wednesday night for the murder of 25-year-old Quavis Cato. 

Police say Johnson shot and killed Cato on Monday in midtown over a car deal. 

Cato's family told 2 Works for You they saw the murder happen. They said Johnson shot Cato multiple times with multiple guns. 

The Tulsa County District Attorney filed a warrant for Johnson's arrest Wednesday. 

Tulsa detectives and warrant officers were in contact with the Baton Rouge Police Department. Johnson is a convicted felon originally from Louisiana.

Police found him in a home in Baton Rouge. 

Johnson is now waiting for extradition back to Tulsa.
