TULSA -- It's award season and most ladies love watching the shows not just to see who wins, but to see what the stars are wearing on the red carpet.

Tulsa native and creator of the swim wear line "Trunkettes" Hilary Genga is one of those women.

"I love watching the award shows of course like everyone else, I watch to see the gorgeous dresses," said Genga.

That gave her the idea for her new line of Hollywood swimwear. Genga took some of Hollywood's most iconic red carpet dresses and turned them into swim suits, including Lupita Nyong'o beautiful baby blue dress she wore to the Oscar's  and the plunging green dress that Jennifer Lopez wore to the Grammy's.

Genga created Trunkettes in 2008 after becoming a mother. She said she didn't feel comfortable in traditional swim wear, and wanted to create swim suits so moms can feel beautiful, but covered up at the same time.

"The most important things is for women to wear what they love and what is comfortable on them," says Genga. "If you feel great in it, you'll look great.

Genga's suits have been featured in several magazines, including being on the cover last year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue.
