Tatianna Hemphill attended Michigan State University and majored in Journalism with a minor in broadcast. Throughout her college career, she joined the Michigan State Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists and later became vice president, then president her senior year.
Tatianna began her journalism at HOMTV in Meridian Township, where she learned to shoot, edit and write. Later, she worked as a reporter/anchor for Michigan State University's Emmy Award-winning student newscast Focal Point, covering breaking news like the Larry Nassar story.
Tatianna spent time as an intern at WCBS in New York City and was an intern at WKAR Radio, an NPR affiliate, before graduating.
In her free time, Tatianna enjoys dancing, Zumba and spending time with friends and family.
