The Rams kept the game close for a half, trailing only 13-10, but the Tigers broke it open in the 3rd quarter. Devon Thomas rushed for well over 100 yards, Coleman Key tossed three TD passes and BA out-gained Owasso by nearly 300 yards in the victory.

Broken Arrow, which finished last season a disappointing 8-4, is stacked with Division One talent (Thomas and LB Gyasi Akem are OK State commits, Key is a Colorado State pledge) and players have stated that they believe this group is the one to bring BA its first-ever State Championship in Football.
