Your word is... CRESCIVE.

Excuse me?! What is a crescive?

Well, first of all, it's not a noun. It's an adjective, and it means increasing or growing. You need to hear it used in a sentence?

The crescive vines traveled up the trellis.

Now, give it your best spelling shot. That's what we asked of our 2 Works for You Today team. Taniya Wright, Daniel Winn, Kirsten Horne and Jon Haverfield sat down and tried their hands at crescive - one of the words that may be posed to a participant in the Green Country Regional Spelling Bee on March 4.

How'd our team do? Not well. But don't take our word for it (see what we did there?!). Watch the short video above to see them stumble their way to spelling it somewhat close to being correct. But not really.

Join us March 4 for the Green Country Regional Spelling Bee when more than 50 local students compete for a spot at the Scripps National Spelling Bee outside Washington, D.C. in May.
