Warning of the Week: The text you should never answer and where to report it

The FTC shares an example of a text message the commission says is aimed at getting your personal information.
The threat of losing touch through your email account could cause you to panic but don't; and don't reply or click any links.   Instead report it.
FTC officials say if you're an AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint or Bell customer you can forward the text to 7726 to report it as spam at no charge.
The commission also wants you to make a complaint to them through www.FTCComplaintAssistant.gov
