Denver, Colorado winter storm causes flight cancelations at Tulsa International Airport

DENVER - Hundreds of flights are being canceled due to a winter storm in Denver, Colo.

The Denver International Airport announced about 300 flights due to a winter storm, according to the airport's Facebook page.

The National Weather Service says snow is expected across most of northeast and north central Colorado Monday, and it could linger through this evening before ending around midnight.

Some flights between Tulsa and Denver have been canceled, including several to Washington D.C. and Chicago.

Officials urge travelers to check their flight status at and allow extra time to get to the airport Monday.  Tulsa travelers can check
