TULSA, Okla. - A 9-month-old child died Wednesday after being injured at a Tulsa hotel.

Police say Ezekiel Hadithy (pictured below), 37, was arrested for child abuse by injury and child neglect.

Police responded to the Quality Inn near Gilcrease and the Keystone Expressway after receiving reports of a small child being critically injured.

EMSA paramedics were dispatched to the scene around 11:23 p.m. for a baby who needed medical help. Tulsa Police say the victim was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Crime Scene and Child Crisis detectives are on scene collecting evidence and interviewing potential witnesses because the incident looks suspicious.

The child's parents told paramedics on scene that the child had fallen off the bed.
