“We want parents to be aware of upcoming construction and how it will affect them getting their kids to the school,” said Principal Katy Jimenez. “The safety of our students is very important and spreading the word about this project and how it will impact the McClure community is vital to protect everyone.”
The project is expected to last between six and 10 months, blocking off existing access to the school parking lot.
A temporary driveway was constructed near the intersection at Yorktown Avenue.
