Suspect shot, killed after gunfire exchange with deputies in Logan County Thursday night

LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. -- A suspect has died after a shootout with deputies in Logan County Thursday night.

According to the Logan County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a call about a man with a gun roaming the area near Charter Oak and Douglas.

Deputies told KFOR there was an exchange of gunfire and the suspect was shot and killed.

No deputies were injured.

The shooting comes just days after Logan County Deputy David Wade was shot and killed while serving an eviction notice.
