STUFF 2 DO: Events around Green Country November 30 and December 1

This is Stuff 2 Do -- our weekly guide of great things to see and do this weekend in Green Country.


It's time to dig out those ice skates as A rvest Winterfest gets underway this weekend. 

The downtown Tulsa attraction features ice skating, horse and carriage rides, live music and concessions stocked with delicious snacks, hot cocoa and cider. Arvest Winterfest open is from noon to 11 a.m. and continues through Jan. 5. For more information, visit their website (


Holiday lights are on all over town, and Winterfest is just one stop on the Glow Downtown holiday lights tour beginning in the Brady Arts District.  Glow On the Green kicks off Sunday, Dec. 1 at 4 p.m. at the Guthrie Green with entertainment, ice sculptures, a special holiday market, food vendors and all sorts of activities leading up to the lighting of the green at 6 p.m. Next, you'll want to stroll over to the Deco District for " S'mores on Boston" for holiday pop up shops, free s'mores for kids and the lighting of the deco district at 6:35.  At 7:05, Arvest Winterfest plugs in the largest Christmas tree in Oklahoma, completing the tour. She's a little bit country. He's a little bit rock 'n' roll. But they're still Donny and Marie Osmond, together again with a new live show. " Donny & Marie Christmas in Tulsa" drops in at the BOK Center tomorrow at 7 p.m.  The brother and sister duo, who shot to stardom first as part of the family singing group, The Osmonds, and later as teen stars of their own variety TV show in the '70s, sing a few fan favorites, as well as holiday songs. Whether you're a Cowboy or a Sooner, the Dye Hard Fan Dash brings together fans of college football teams today beginning at noon at the Guthrie Green.  The family event will have a 5k color run, a chili cook off, live music and a party atmosphere for all ages. With this year's bedlam game right around the corner, it's the perfect time to show your team spirit.


The USA BMX Grand Nationals bring the action to Expo Square's River Spirit Expo this weekend. The pro-series finals event wraps up tonight with professional BMX bike racers and teams from across the country racing for the big finish  Gates open at 5, and the event starts at 6. Some non-competitive nationals events continue tomorrow.
