Snowfall brings winter weather in March

TULSA - The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for counties in northern Oklahoma and southern Kansas.

Areas of light snow are predicted to continue across northeast Oklahoma this morning.  Any snow accumulations are expected to be near the Oklahoma and Kansas border.

The snowfall is expected to stop during the morning.  Gusty winds from 25 to 35 miles per hour will continue throughout the day, officials say.

Highway patrol troopers say roads in Osage, Kay and Noble counties are slick and hazardous.  Several accidents have been reported on Highway 177, I-35 and Highway 412.
