TULSA -- A porch pirate caught on home surveillance video several times by residents off Cherry Street was arrested after a neighbor confronted him.
Cole Cooper says his Ring App woke him up last night, alerting him that there was motion outside his house.
Cooper walked outside and saw a young man with a familiar face wandering around his neighbor's truck.
He says it was the same guy who was on his Ring surveillance video recently, seen stealing a package out of his mailbox. Cooper says he was wearing the same hat and backpack from the video.
"With Ring your neighbors can upload their videos and say hey look out for this guy, and I’ve seen him all over it and so we finally got him," said Cooper.
Cooper called police as neighbors waited with Derek Keller, who was arrested that night.
According to a booking report Keller is charged with attempted burglary and two counts of larceny of lost property.
