Police seek robbery suspect wearing OSU starter jacket, armed with gun; man robbed Subway near TU

TULSA - Tulsa police are searching for an armed robbery suspect who held up a fast food restaurant late Wednesday night.

Police say an employee at Subway across from the University of Tulsa was closing up shop around 10 p.m. when an armed man walked in and demanded money.

The worker ran to a nearby restaurant for help and the suspect fled into an apartment complex near 10th and Atlanta with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police say a customer at the second restaurant followed the suspect about four blocks before losing track of him.

A canine officer and a police helicopter searched the area but the suspect has not been found.

Surveillance video shows the suspect as a black man wearing a black and white OSU starter jacket and a white sweater over his nose.
