TULSA, Okla. — The Jenks Police Department is investigating a shooting that took place in The Country Woods Edition near West 106th Street South in Jenks.
Police have confirmed that there are three dead, one adult and two children.
Jenks Police tell us this type of thing is unexpected in this neighborhood.
Kimberly Trammel- Snodgrass and her family have lived in this neighborhood for 7 years.
"Very surprised, very surprised," Trammel-Snodgrass said.
She and other neighbors heard the new online.
"Yes, its devastating, it's devastating. It's hard to believe that it happened to someone so close to home," Trammel-Snodgrass said.
A father and his two sons found dead.
Police say the boys mother was at work when this happened.
"We've talked to a lot of neighbors and friends in the neighborhood today. It's just a reminder that you just never know what's going on and the holidays are tough and we need to pay more attention about what's going on with our neighbors and friends," Trammel-Snodgrass said.
Now neighbors are pulling together in the face of a tragedy.
"We definitely will get together, we've been talking all evening on our social media website for our neighborhood. We want to be a huge support to this family and the children that knew this family," Trammel-Snodgrass said.
