Police arrest Tulsa man for stolen truck, recover 5 loaded guns

TULSA - A Tulsa man is behind bars after he was found with a stolen vehicle and a number of loaded guns.

On Tuesday evening, police were checking on a possible stolen vehicle near East Newton Street and North Wheeling Avenue.  A tip indicated the suspect, Michael Fisher, stole a large white flatbed truck with black rails.

Police say officers witnessed the truck driven by Fisher arrive at the home, and after receiving information that the truck was stolen officers surrounded the house.

Fisher exited the residence and was arrested.  He admitting having guns inside the home as well as keys to the stolen truck.

Officers later found five stolen guns inside the home.

Fisher was arrested for possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of firearms after a prior felony conviction.
