Midfirst Bank in midtown Tulsa robbed by man with note; police release suspect surveillance images

TULSA - A midtown Tulsa bank was the scene of a robbery Thursday and Tulsa police have released surveillance images with the hope of identifying the suspect.

Around 9 a.m. police say a man entered Midfirst Bank near 21st and Lewis and presented a note to the bank teller.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, police say the suspect fled the bank and was last seen running north into a neighborhood.

No weapon was seen during the robbery and police say no one was injured.

The suspect is described as a white or Hispanic male, 5 feet 6 to 5 feet 9 inches tall, between 150 and 170 pounds and possibly in his 30s or 40s. The man has dark-colored hair and a goatee. He was wearing a dark ball cap, sunglasses, a light blue shirt with "Volunteer" written on the front, blue jeans and black shoes.
