Jenks, Union and other Oklahoma high school football playoff games postponed due to winter weather

TULSA -- Due to the winter weather moving into the state, many of the high school football games Friday night have been rescheduled, including the games Union and Jenks were to play.

Union Public Schools posted this update on its Facebook page shortly after 2 p.m.:

Due to inclement weather in the Oklahoma City area, tonight's Union vs. Edmond North football game has been postponed until Saturday, November 23rd 12:00 p.m. at Union Tuttle Stadium.

Ticket booths will open at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday. Tickets purchased in advance will be honored.

Jenks Public Schools also posted on their Facebook page that their home game against Midwest City was being postponed until 1 p.m. Saturday.

A handful of Tulsa Public Schools basketball games have also been canceled and will be re-scheduled at a later date. Those include:

-- Marquette at Carver (JH)
-- Rogers at Central (HS)
-- McLain at Webster (HS)
-- Hale at Edison (HS)
