TULSA - Power is out for dozens of residents in north Tulsa after a car drove into a utility pole early Saturday morning.
Tulsa police say a driver went off the road and into the pole around 1:45 a.m. The man was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
"The investigating officers noticed an odor of alcoholic beverage on the driver's person. No one other vehicles were involved," Tulsa Police Officer Matthew Harker said.
According to officers, about five surrounding stoplights and two square miles of homes near 46th Street North and Peoria Avenue are without power.
There is no word from PSO officials on when power in the area will be restored. Around 130 customers are without power in Tulsa County, according to the PSO website.
