TULSA - An infant is hospitalized after police say his head slammed against a wall.
Tulsa police arrested 25-year-old Andrew Stotts Monday afternoon.
According to the arrest report, Stotts said he woke up early Monday morning to feed the 6-month-old baby, who was fussy. When Stotts went to place the baby in the crib, he said he slammed the infant's head into the crib and wall "pretty hard."
Police say the baby was admitted to an area hospital with extensive bruising on his head, face, ear and shoulder. A CT scan showed the infant sustained a skull fracture.
Stotts was booked into the Tulsa County Jail for child abuse by injury. He posted $50,000 bond and was released Monday night.
