COFFEYVILLE, Kan. - Some areas faired better than others during our recent bout with winter weather.
While the Tulsa area only received a dusting of snow, parts of southern Kansas were buried under four inches.
Coffeyville was one of those spots, where most roads were cleared early Tuesday evening, before another light round of snow pushed through after sunset.
Montgomery County Emergency Manager Jim Miller said road crews will continue to work, treating any trouble spots they find.
"They'll be spreading sand and salt all night," he said.
An officer with the Coffeyville Police Department says he is not aware of any weather-related car accidents.
