Weekley and Snedeker win ADT Skills Challenge

Last Update: 10/26 5:43 pm

Boo Weekley and Brandt Snedeker teamed up to win the ADT Skills Challenge on Monday, knocking off three other teams for the title.

Weekley and Snedeker won three challenges and $157,000 apiece while competing against the pairings of Kenny Perry and J.B. Holmes, Fred Couples and Hunter Mahan, and Fred Funk and Nick Price.

The winning duo captured the greenside bunker challenge when Weekley holed out. Snedeker then holed out to win the chip-shot challenge, and he took the trouble shot challenge by knocking his ball to 13 inches.

Weekley and Snedeker clinched the title by besting Perry and Holmes in the ADT Reverse Scramble playoff hole, where players are allowed to select which shot their opponents must play.

Holmes won the long drive challenge with a 314-yard shot, while Funk captured the mid-iron and short-iron competitions.
