John Smith is a member of wrestling royalty at Oklahoma State University.
His older brother Lee Roy was a three-time All-America, while younger brother Pat was a four-time All-America.
John was a three-time All-America for the Cowboys and won a pair of individual national championships in 1987 and 1988.
He made his family, and his state, proud by winning gold at the 1988 Olympics in Seoul. He followed up that gold with another at the 1992 Games in Barcelona.
John is currently the head coach of the Oklahoma State wrestling team and is the school's all-time winningest coach.
